1. Information We Collect
We collect information about you in three ways: information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
Account and Profile Data: When you register on the Platform, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and account login credentials. You may also add professional details or a profile picture.
Student Progress and Activity Data: We collect information regarding the courses you enroll in, assignments submitted, forum discussions, quiz/exam results, and certificate completion records.
Instructor Data: If you register as an Instructor, we collect additional identity verification details, curriculum materials, professional credentials, and tax or payout information.
Customer Support: Any information you provide when contacting our helpdesk, reporting a system bug, or requesting technical support.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Log and Usage Data: Our servers automatically record details of your visits, including your IP address, browser type, device operating system, access times, pages viewed, and system crashes or bugs experienced during exams or learning tracks.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your learning preferences, and track engagement with course videos to help optimize server delivery.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
Corporate (B2B) Registrations: If your employer, organization, or institution sets up your account via an enterprise subscription, they may provide us with your basic contact information to facilitate your enrollment.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your personal data under legal bases defined by the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), including contract fulfillment, legal obligation, and legitimate business interests. We use your data to:
Provide, maintain, and optimize the Platform’s learning management system.
Track academic and skill-development progress, grade assessments, and issue certifications.
Process premium content fees and instructor payouts via our integrated financial gateways.
Troubleshoot system errors, optimize server performance during high-traffic exam periods, and protect against security threats or fraud.
Manage forum moderation and enforce our platform's user code of conduct.
Communicate with you regarding course updates, administrative announcements, or optional promotional offers.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information under the following limited circumstances:
With Instructors: When a Student enrolls in a course, the independent Instructor who owns the course receives access to the student’s name and discussion forum inputs to facilitate teaching and mentorship. Instructors are legally bound to use this data strictly for educational communication.
With Corporate Clients (B2B): If your access is paid for by an employer or institution, your course completion metrics, exam results, and active learning hours will be shared with that organization’s designated account administrator.
With Third-Party Payment Gateways: To process your premium content purchases, relevant billing data is securely transmitted to our verified payment processors: Paystack, PayPal, and our designated banking institutions for direct transfers. We do not store full credit card numbers on our local databases.
Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information to law enforcement or regulatory authorities in Abuja or federally within Nigeria if required by a valid legal process, subpoena, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.
4. Data Retention and Security
4.1 Data Security
We implement robust technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to shield your personal data from unauthorized access, accidental alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption protocols for data in transit and secure database configurations.
4.2 Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with access to your purchased learning history. If you request account deletion, we will purge your profile details, though anonymous usage metrics and institutional completion records may be retained to fulfill historical tax, audit, or legal verification obligations.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and international privacy frameworks, you possess specific rights regarding your personal information, which you can exercise by reaching out to our support team:
Right to Access: You have the right to request a digital copy of the personal information we hold about you.
